Sparkles and Crochet

Hi, there! I hope everyone has been enjoying the summer season.

This is what I wore for my Nordstrom Fashion Board meeting last night. 

Malls are always chilly (at least mine is), and it was blazing outside so I opted for these thin jeans

I got at the recent Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and some sleeve-less layering. 

I cut this formerly long-hemmed short-sleeve T-shirt into a high-low hem and offed the sleeves. 

Note to to the scissor happy: cut a little bit at a time. You can always cut more. 

You cannot glue things back on, unless you're super creative like that, and if you are

we need to get together and share your secrets. In this situation, I cut my armholes way to low, and now I have to wear a shirt underneath. First world problems. 

Any-who, shout out to Nordstrom Fashion Board! I am so happy to be a part of this year's board and I can't wait to see everything I'm going to learn and experience. For those who don't know, the Fashion Board is a one year long program for high schoolers to learn about the company and the fashion industry at their local Nordstrom.
