It's true! As I walked into this candy emporium, with sugar left and right, I instantly got so giddy and happy! I think I got a sugar buzz just looking at all the flavors (of course that not-so-child size gelato didn't exactly help the problem either)! Tuesday, with my aunt and cousins, I went to Powell's Sweet Shoppe, a candy store that plays the original Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory throughout the day and has an all over vintage feel. They sell modern treats and timeless classics. Lemme tell ya, if you think you know your candy types, this is the place to put it to the test. There are so many different flavors, editions, species (lollipops, chocolate bars, gum, ect.), and some I have never seen or tasted before. I kinda freaked out when I found the British candy section, wittily displayed in a red phone booth, complete with Aero bars. YUM!
