After seeing the effortless glamor and chic portrayed by the J-Crew models, whom arrived in our mailbox via catalog yesterday, I decided it was time to go back to basics. In this look, the color scheme is very classic: red, neutrals, and stripes, with a few pops of pink. I've been seeing a lot of stripes for summer, and I found one in my mother's closet. This jumper has been amazing, as I've had it for years. I like to think of it as a less-dressy, less-severe little black dress. It's the little gray dress. For summer, a good staple is the little white dress. Perhaps it's time for us all to stock up on our little (insert color here) dresses. :)
