When getting dressed for our Easter celebration today, there were two thoughts on my mind: Is this hem to short? and Do I at all resemble an Easter egg? Fortunately neither proved true, though I had my doubts about the latter. My family hosted linner (in between lunch and dinner) at our house and had 20 of our closest friends and family over. Amidst the somewhat hectic morning (Mom's fine attention to detail can sometimes outweigh her judgment on time, but we still love her!), the family sat down and read the Resurrection story in Matthew 28. It was really nice to be calm with everyone and spend some time with God on His day. It was especially important because my youngest brother, six-year old Collin, is beginning to think that the true meaning of every holiday is "decorating". Oh brother. We had an amazing time and I hope you did too!
